A large environmental lot. A river. A question of how to arrive.
The project began with subdivision and grew into something more considered — a pedestrian crossing that connects the main road to the new lots, spanning the river while shaping the experience of arrival itself.
The concept: don't reveal the landscape all at once. Use architecture to compress, then release. Concrete blades block, frame, and carve intentional openings — controlling what you see, and when you see it. The environment unfolds gradually, making the journey as meaningful as the destination.
One of those rare projects that stays with you.
